Water. Soil. These are the building blocks of our river system—an essential element of our great county. Sadly, never before have our rivers been in greater danger. The time for action is now, and Clarke County needs a candidate who can take action. We need a leader who knows our rivers, who has fished our rivers, and who will do what it takes to protects our rivers. David Dove is that leader.
Our rivers are part of a legacy we will leave for our children—a rich tapestry meant to be enjoyed for years to come. For that reason, David Dove isn’t satisfied with resting on our laurels. Our current rivers are good, but good is the enemy of great. David not only wants to maintain our current rivers, but he has a plan to aggressively pursue the expansion of our rivers. While opponents might be willing to export our rivers out of the county, David Dove wants to keep our rivers at home and use American ingenuity—the same ingenuity that conquered the mighty British empire, that split the atom, that put a man on the moon—to expand our river system.
David Dove is ready to dedicate the next four years of his life to this County. He’s held the soil of this great County in his hands. He’s felt the rivers run past his feet while fishing. David appreciates the water. He appreciates the soil. And on November 6th, he’ll appreciate your vote to elect David Dove as the next Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor.
Thank you and see you at the polls!

This upcoming Tuesday, November 6th, marks a significant election for our local, state, and national governments. However, for those of you voting in Clarke County, one position doesn’t have any candidates on the ballot. That’s right, without any write-in votes, the Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor will go unfilled.
When I began to think about who could serve our great county as a write-in candidate, one name immediately came to mind: Clarke County’s favorite son, David Dove.
David was raised in Clarke County, he went to school in Clarke County, he was married in Clarke County, and now he attends the University of Georgia School of Law in Clarke County. Quite simply, David knows Clarke County. He knows the need and wants of all its citizens, and there is no one more qualified to serve the constituents of Clarke County as the Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor than David Dove.
Let’s make sure we get David elected this Tuesday, November 6th, by writing his name into the ballot as Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor. Let’s go David! We all support you, and you have our vote! #Dove2012
